What?
ArtSupport's Artist Spotlight is a weekly feature showcasing artists from across Australia through selected works, artist profiles, and links to their websites and social media.
Why?
Our goal is simple: to shine a light on the incredible work being created across Australia and support greater visibility, connection, and opportunities for artists at all career stages.
Submission Guidelines
Who Can Apply?
Submissions are open to Australia-based artists working across all disciplines, career stages, and areas of practice.
Successful submissions may be used for:
- Weekly Artist Spotlight on Instagram
- Future Storytelling & Artist Profile Opportunities
*Please note that submitting your work does not guarantee a feature. Due to the volume of submissions received, only successful artists will be contacted.
Submission Requirements
Please take the time to review requirements and complete all sections of the submission form. The more complete and professional your submission, the easier it is for our team to assess and potentially feature your work.
- High-Quality Images / Videos
- JPGs / PNGs / PDF / Word Files
- Professional Artist Statement & Bio
- A Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or Similar Link for File Transfer (make sure sharing permissions are set to public so we can access the content.
Please include the following information where relevant:
- Artwork Title
- Year Created
- Website / Social Media Links
- Photographer / Videographer Credits
Artist Bio & Statement
Please provide a short artist bio and artist statement with a combined maximum of 300 words. Keep your writing concise, accessible, and easy to understand.

*Please note that ArtSupport may make minor edits to artist bios and statements for spelling, grammar, formatting, length, and readability while maintaining the original intent of the text.
Consent
By submitting your work, you grant ArtSupport Australia permission to share your submitted images, videos, artist bio, artist statement, website, and social media links across our website, social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials for the purpose of promoting your practice with the broader Australian arts community.
Copyright remains with the artist at all times.
Where photographer, videographer, or collaborator credits are supplied, ArtSupport will make reasonable efforts to include these credits alongside published content.
ArtSupport Australia reserves the right to determine which submissions are featured and may decline submissions at its discretion.
